Fees

£2,000 per person per 3 week course
£4,000 per person per 6 week course

Fees include

Full board accommodation in shared twin bedrooms in a school residence, usually sharing with a student of similar age but different nationality.

Full time tuition Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 15.30 with fully supervised programme of sports and activities after school and at weekends and educational visits and excursions (see Typical Week). Weekly laundry - Enrolment Fee - Educational materials.

Escorted arrival and departure transfer.

Fees do not include:

Travel Insurance.
Pocket money.
Expenses connected with medical/ dental fees, clothing, examination fees, arranging travel documents or arranging entry into secondary schools in the UK.

Arrival and departure transfers

School fees include one free escorted arrival and one escorted departure from London Stansted or London Heathrow airports, Sundays only for arrivals, Saturdays only for departures. All other transfers will be charged at the rate of £100 per person per journey.

Please complete the registration form and return it to us with a non-refundable deposit of £500.00. We will reply confirming the enrolment and send a fee note detailing course fees. Full fees are due one week before the commencement of a course otherwise we cannot guarantee to hold a place. Four weeks' notice is required to change a course booking.

    The Bank Transfer must carry the name of the student and a copy of the transfer details must be sent to the school.

    (Please add £10.00 per transfer for UK bank handling charges).

  • By bank draft or Sterling cheque drawn on a British bank and made out to St Edmund's College Summer School.

  • At the College by cash, travellers cheques or Sterling cheque.

Bank charges are the responsibility of parents and should be paid with the fees.

Conditions of enrolment

  1. A place on a course with accommodation can only be reserved when we receive a completed enrolment form accompanied by the deposit of £500.00. Deposits cannot be refunded unless we are unable to offer a course.
  2. The balance of fees must be received one week before course commencement, otherwise the student may be cancelled.
  3. In the case of illness of one week or more, students can extend their course provided they have had the required vaccinations against childhood illnesses and have not been in contact with an infectious disease for three weeks prior to course commencement. Parents are strongly advised to arrange appropriate health insurance to cover the child’s stay in the UK.
  4. In cases of medical or other emergency the school will act in loco parentis.
  5. The minimum period of enrolment is three weeks. Short course fees apply to complete calendar weeks and students are expected to arrive on Sundays and depart on Saturdays.
  6. The school accepts no liability whatsoever for the loss of money or personal effects which are not given to the school office for safekeeping. Students are advised not to bring expensive items to school, e. g. video cameras / jewellery etc.
  7. Students are not permitted to drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes at any time or leave the campus without permission.
  8. Parents will be required to withdraw a student for misconduct and fees will not be refunded.
  9. The completed enrolment form implies permission for the student to participate in all supervised activities outside the school premises which form part of the school’s programme.
  10. The school reserves the right to vary details of the courses offered without notice.
